CELL  and TISSUE Anatomy means science of body structure and physiology means scie cience of body function. There are six levels of structural organization of human body, they are-  Chemical level - Smallest unit of human anatomy and physiology is atom. 26 elements are normally found into human body, among them 4 like oxygen (65%), carbon (18.5%), hydrogen (9.5%) and nitrogen (3.24 forms about 96% of body mass, which called major elements. Eight other called lesser elements and remaining fourteen called trace element. Two and more atom joined together and form molecule.  Cellular level -many molecules combined together and form cells, which is known as structural and funztional unit of an organism like human. Tissue level - group of similar cells work together to perform a particular function called tissue.
